About
This blog is about webbiquity – maximizing your own or your company’s online presence and success. This is what I help clients with everyday (and incidentally, yes, I’m available for hire). However you choose to pursue online b2b marketing and PR success, I hope you find my musings here helpful.
My official bio from LinkedIn:
As an independent consultant and through B2B technology marketing firm KC Associates, Tom helps clients increase their visibility, credibility, and business success online. His expertise in SEO, search marketing, social media, content marketing and interactive PR has helped clients ranging from single-person businesses to $1 billion+ corporations. A few recent success stories:
* He helped a large office products company grow organic search traffic six-fold, quadruple total website traffic, and increase online lead generation by 150% over two years.
* He helped the president of a small sales management training company become a widely-known figure in social media, capture the #1 Google search spot, and develop a highly productive online lead generation system.
* An IT management software client doubled its revenue for three straight years. Yes, even in 2009.
His award-winning WebMarketCentral blog (now Webbiquity) covers B2B lead generation, social media, interactive PR, SEO and search engine marketing. He’s been named one of the 50 most influential B2B marketing thought leaders, written numerous articles on web marketing and social networking for various publications, and presented at blogging and social media conferences. Prior to joining KC Associates in 2006, Tom served in technology marketing leadership roles with supply-chain outsourcer Zomax, ERP vendor SoftBrands, and digital prepress supplier Printware. Personal:
Well, since you’ve read this far: married to my dream girl, father of two wonderful and amazing children, Vikings and Gophers fan. I love pizza, probably too much; Davanni’s has the best pizza in Minnesota, though Green Mill is a close second. Christian, and blessed to live in country where everyone can believe as they choose. Rock n’ roll guy; Boston is the greatest band ever. Small-l libertarian: government is like a shrub. Properly trimmed, it’s beneficial. Allowed to grow out of control, it becomes ugly and chokes off all life surrounding it. I’m a PC (though I also have a Mac laptop, and a Linux box too; okay, more of a marketing geek I guess).
