Tom Pick and the Webbiquity Blog
I’m a B2B marketing consultant who’s helped dozens of small to midsized organizations, from solopreneurs to $100 million enterprises improve their online visibility, website traffic, lead generation, and business results. I help companies address tough B2B marketing planning and execution challenges, improve the customer experience, and optimize marketing technology strategy. You can see more about my background on LinkedIn. I’ve also won some awards.
My business mission: Drive superior client experiences and business outcomes.
I believe, in addition to delivering business results, you should expect your digital marketing consultant to:
- Understand and address your needs, not try to sell you on a one-size-fits-all approach.
- Be open and explain all recommendations in clear language, without jargon, buzzwords, or vague references to “secret formulas.”
- Combine decades of experience and perspective with the most current knowledge to optimize your results.
- Always put your interests first.
If this isn’t happening for you—we should talk.
How I can help your company:
Old school? No problem. Here’s my brochure.
This blog is about “webbiquity,” a shorthand term for web presence optimization or WPO–maximizing your organization’s online visibility and success.
“Web presence” is all of the places your organization can potentially be found online, through owned (e.g., your website and blog), earned (e.g., third-party reviews, trade press coverage, analyst reports, social media conversations) and paid (SEM and advertising) media.
Optimization is coordinating the efforts of your SEO, PR, content marketing, advertising, and social media staff, consultants or agencies to maximize your online visibility when prospective customers are looking for information about whatever it is you offer.
The Webbiquity blog provides informative and how-to posts about all aspect of maximizing your organization’s online visibility to drive business results. Posts are written by managing editor Tom Pick (me: email tom[at]tompick.com) as well as guest bloggers.
