Buyers today care less about advertising than about content that shows you know how to solve their problems, so it makes sense even for small businesses to allocate budget/time/talent to blogging over substantial ad spending.</description>

Maintaining the balance between frequency and quality is by far the hardest element - particularly for a smaller business where all of the writing falls to one person.

A small business can share the writing load by asking suppliers and other industry contacts to write guest posts.

In the absence of support, I would advocate writing a good post once every two weeks over two poor posts over the same period.</description>
