You’ve just kick-started your new company with the perfect product or service. To make sure your target demographic is drawn to your offering rather than your direct competitors’, you need a stand-out marketing campaign.
The late Steve Jobs really knew his stuff, and Apple is what it is today because of that.
Apple was at one time close to filing for bankruptcy, but Jobs’ vision saved the day, and Apple is now the most valuable company in the world.
The Apple brand and its products may have been brilliant and innovative, but without the driven team at Apple, they would have ended up as another Atari, Koss, or RCA. Their incredible marketing strategy laid the groundwork for their future success and brand image.
A great quote from Jobs: “Get closer than ever to your customers. So close that you tell them what they need well before they realize it themselves”. He was definitely on to something, and the sales records speak for themselves.
While very few companies will duplicate the phenomenal success of Apple, any brand can learn from the company’s marketing strategies and campaign design. Jobs and his team blazed a path for the rest of us to follow and can spark ideas for your own brand.
The following infographic by The Website Group titled “10 Marketing Lessons from Apple” will hopefully help you and your brand grow, even if not quite to Apple-level success.
