Which posts were most popular with you, the readers of the B2B marketing blog, in 2021? Here’s a look at the most popular topics, a few honorable mentions, and the most-read posts of the year.
January of this year marked the 10th anniversary of the launch of this blog. The post The Top 10 Posts from 10 Years of Webbiquity showcased the top posts of all time to that point.
There are still some classic posts from the past that continue to generate interest. Posts like How to Build a B2B Marketing Team (2017), the classic Seven Reasons Your B2B Marketing Should Include Cats (2019), and 5 Great Reasons to Retweet Others on Twitter (from 2010!) were all among the most-read posts over the past 12 months.
It’s a bit surprising that The Seven Deadly Sins of Guest Blogging Outreach (2019) didn’t make the top list, considering how many times that link has been sent in response to crappy, spammy guest-post outreach. Apparantly, you can lead a spammer to wisdom, but you can’t make them learn.
In any case, this year’s list includes only posts either written or substantially revised in 2021. Looking at the list overall, the most popular topics were marketing technology tools; graphic design, particularly website design; social media; and influencer marketing.
Honorable Mention
A few noteworthy posts that didn’t quite crack the top 10 were 12 Fascinating Facts About Global Internet Use in 2021, How Social Media and Influencers Have Radically Changed B2B Marketing, How to Create a B2B Buyer Persona – Six Key Dimensions, and Web Presence Optimization (WPO) — Its Origin, Evolution, and Future.
All garnered significant readership but didn’t quite match the top group. So, drumroll please, here are your top 10 most-read posts on Webbiquity in 2021.
