A few weeks ago,, a post titled What’s the Ideal Number of Experts for Expert Roundup Posts? 27 Experts Weigh In was published here. It apparently answered a popular question, as that post has been shared hundreds of times since.
Now the team at Venngage has converted the content of that post into the cool infographic below. In addition, a few more experts have contributed their wisdom to this question:
Anne Deeter Gallaher (@AnneDGallaher): I love to read Roundup posts but our time is precious. We work in an age of CPA (continuous partial attention), so to stop a reader long enough to deliver information, I think 3-5 experts and no more than 7 is a meaningful number. When I’m reading posts and see a number in a headline, I immediately decide if I have the time to read 5 or 50 tips, especially on my iPhone. When it’s 50 experts, readers may scroll past the content thinking they don’t have the time to invest in reading a post that long. If you want to be read, a shorter list helps you achieve that.
Rebecca Caroe (@rebeccacaroe): The answer is three. Any more and it takes too long. Any fewer and you don’t have the chance of opinion diversity.
Nirav Dave (@nirav_dave): There is no hard and fast rule about the exact number of experts to include in your expert roundup. What matters most is the value your post provides to your readers. Including experts who have no expertise about the topic is not going to endear you to your readers. Thus, your focus when creating an expert roundup should be on pitching only to those influencers who are most relevant to your topic. Also, while it is true that the higher the number, the better traction you are able to garner from it, it’s better to target a lower number—say 20-35—for a well-curated post that delivers results.

Since the introduction of smartphones and tablets, mobile device usage has grown tremendously. This is especially the case over the past few years, as we have collectively shifted to spending more time browsing on our phones than we do on our actual (desktop or laptop) computers.
To help put this trend better into perspective, the folks behind PlayMobi have created a fascinating and very cool tool that illustrates the immense scope of mobile usage, in real time! The principle behind the site is quite simple. All a user has to do is to access it, and from that point onwards, the site starts tracking and displaying mobile usage on a variety of platforms, such as Google, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat and more, and is meant to better showcase how popular each of the platforms truly is.
For example, in one day, the number of Google mobile searches is of approximately 623 billion, followed by Bing searches at 500 billion, and Yahoo searches estimated at 184 billion.
There are 42,000,242,959.56 (or so) WhatsApp messages sent every 24 hours, and 66.66 billion Facebook messenger texts sent during the same period of time.
By accessing the platform, users will not only learn more about the daily mobile usage, but will also quickly realize which platforms are gaining in popularity, who the main competitors on the mobile market are, and how certain trends which once seemed like they would goon forever are now trailing off.

You’ve just kick-started your new company with the perfect product or service. To make sure your target demographic is drawn to your offering rather than your direct competitors’, you need a stand-out marketing campaign.
The late Steve Jobs really knew his stuff, and Apple is what it is today because of that.
Apple was at one time close to filing for bankruptcy, but Jobs’ vision saved the day, and Apple is now the most valuable company in the world.
The Apple brand and its products may have been brilliant and innovative, but without the driven team at Apple, they would have ended up as another Atari, Koss, or RCA. Their incredible marketing strategy laid the groundwork for their future success and brand image.
A great quote from Jobs: “Get closer than ever to your customers. So close that you tell them what they need well before they realize it themselves”. He was definitely on to something, and the sales records speak for themselves.
